We are looking for a front-end developer who will be mainly responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Aito’s web-based user interfaces.

Your profile:

  • Able to independently design and implement web pages and apps with good industry practices including design, testing, continuous delivery, code reviews, etc.
  • Able to bring an idea to production, involving all steps from design, user tests, to writing the actual frontend code.
  • Knowledge of good industry practices including continuous delivery
  • Motivated and open to learn new technologies, methods and tools
  • Good knowledge of modern web tooling such as npm, React, eslint, babel, and of course CSS and Javascript and experience with TypeScript is a plus. Knowledge of concepts and motivation to learn new tools is more important than current knowledge of individual tools.
  • Knowledge of web design concepts and ideally experience of UX/UI design.
  • Have experience with Sketch or other design tools is definitely an advantage.
  • Ideally can assist our back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting whenever needed
  • 2-3 years relevant experience

Recruitment process

We’ll start with interviews as the applications come in. We aim to keep the recruitment process short:

  • First interview: is done mostly by phone. Before diving deeper into your skills, we want to know who you are and what motivates you. This is also an opportunity for you to understand Aito better. We ask to do a short coding exercise during your own time which will be discussed in the next interview.

  • Second interview: you get to meet some of your future Aito colleagues. We love hearing about your career highlights, your past roles and learnings. We also deep dive in your coding exercise. We’re trying to get a solid understanding of your skills and ambitions. You will understand better how you would potentially fit into our team.

  • Third interview: last check - you’ll meet more Aito people. We want to make sure there is a right match between your future colleagues and yourself. Potentially, we contact some of your references.
