To further support our growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic developer with front-end background. Our ideal candidate is creative, curious and has a natural urge to try out new things. Using agile growth hacking methods, your job will be to actively create new ideas, implement them, analyze the results and design the next iterations. You will have an important role in making Aito as intuitive and clear as possible for your fellow developers.

The ideal candidate:

  • Proposes creative new projects, from building free tools and apps that attract prospects and convert leads to testing new approaches to capturing existing demand
  • Brings traditional and creative ideas on how to grow the user base and drive relevant web traffic + testing different ideas as well as collecting and analysing user and market feedback.
  • Finds out the best practices on how to bring feedback and data to create the product to be more user friendly.
  • Identifies and prioritizes the growth channels and finds ways to impact influencers of the market and referral marketing.
  • Will develop and implement front-end web code to improve the user journey
  • Is eager to get the word out about Aito in different developer channels and is active in relevant discussions (Reddit, Stack Overflow, Quora to name a few)
  • Will be analyzing, recommending and leading the implementation of improvement initiatives
  • Enjoys taking initiative and thinking out-of-the-box
  • Has strong knowledge of CSS, Javascript, TypeScript
  • Has hands-on experience with web analytics and A/B testing tools or is eager to learn
  • Has knowledge of UI/UX best practices
  • Has outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Speaks and writes English on a native level

Please note that Aito is not able to provide working visas or pay for relocation. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work from Helsinki, Finland.

Recruitment process

We’ll start with interviews as the applications come in. We aim to keep the recruitment process short:

  • First interview: is done mostly by phone. Before diving deeper into your skills, we want to know who you are and what motivates you. This is also an opportunity for you to understand Aito better. We ask to do a short coding exercise during your own time which will be discussed in the next interview.

  • Second interview: you get to meet some of your future Aito colleagues. We love hearing about your career highlights, your past roles and learnings. We also deep dive in your coding exercise. We’re trying to get a solid understanding of your skills and ambitions. You will understand better how you would potentially fit into our team.

  • Third interview: last check - you’ll meet more Aito people. We want to make sure there is a right match between your future colleagues and yourself. Potentially, we contact some of your references.
